There are two ways you can create your voice commander account

• From the website Register.
• Directly from the iPhone application. The first time you launch the application, you will be prompt a registration screen.
If you have created your account on the website, login within the iPhone app using your account email address.

Once you account has been created you will be invited to download the Dekstop controller. The Controller app maintain the synchronization between your daw and the Voice Commander on your phone, please install it and let it run at all time while producing music with your assistant. An email with links and you account information has been sent to your mailbox. Depending on your email provider, it may happen for our email to end up in the spam folder. In such case please move our email to your inbox to receive any update notifications.

Install Voice Commander on your iPhone via the Apple iOS AppStore.

• 1.Open a Project in your Daw.
• 2.Launch the VC Controller on your mac and enable accessibility.

The controller automatically syncs with your project at launch. For this you need to make sure the VoiceCommander.app is checked in your system preferences.

(The first time you launch the Controller the app will promt a window with instructions. This step won't need to be repeated unless you change your accessibility settings or re-install the application).
Upon synchronization, your project name will appear at the bottom left of the controller in the blue strip area (called status bar).
If your project name is missing, check that the arrange window or mixer window is opened in Logic then hit the refresh button in the Controller.


• 3.Open the Voice Commander App on your iPhone.

Go to the Commander section of this manual to learn how to use the Voice Commander application.

Modes are accessible both from the Contoller preferences and Voice Commander bottom Toolbar, and are synced together. These modes can be turned on and off independently:

• Track navigation:
  Turns on or off access to track selection. Learn more.
• Voice Commands:
  Turns on or off access to the voice commands. Learn more.
• Time Navigation:
  Turns time navigation on and off. To chose from time navigation options go to settings via the button Learn more.
• Mix Mode:
  Turns mix mode on and off. Learn more.

All your custom voice commands are listed here:

•   Create a new voice command.
•   Delete the selected voice command .

•  Voice Command (Top Row):
  
  1. Select the middle textfield to edit the name of the voice command
  

  Note that you can add voice commands from the voice command list inside the current voice command displayed inside the editor with drag and drop. We call this "nesting voice commands".

  2. Execute voice command

  Using the execute button you can test your command without speaking.

•  Key Command:
  

  Voice Commander Syncs with your Daw's available shortcuts.

     Click the middle textfield to display your Daw's Key Commands and make a selection.

     Send any type of Midi Message.

        Enter how many times you want that command to repeat before going to the next.

     8.  Actions:
        

        Remove selected command (highlighted row)
        Add new command after selection.

• Project:

  Name of your daw's project. If the project field shows "---" please refresh your project using the button in the top right menu.

• Clients:

  Your mobile device user name and IP adress.

The Voice Commander speech recognition comes in two different flavors:

• Mac Name

  Displays the name of the mac synced with the Commander.

• Project Name

  Displays the name the project synced with the Commander.

• Listen

  Voice Commander assistant is listening to you when this button is on.

• Voice Command Name

  Displays the recognized Voice Command.

• Brings the Tracks View
• Brings the Voice Command View

Displays the tracks of your project. You can manually select them with a tap on the track name and of course speak them out to select them.

• Brings the Main View

Displays your custom voice commands. You can manually select them with a tap on the voice command name and of course speak them out to trigger them.

Access the settings from the the menu .

• Time navigation:
  This setting give you options to navigate to bars.
  If "bar number" is selected, the payhead to go to the bar each time you say a number (given that your porjects contains bars up to the spoken number).
  If "bar + bar number" is selected, you will first have to say the keyword "bar" followed to the number of the bar you want to navigate to.


• Language:

  Voice Commander is available in:

  • 🇺🇸 US English
  • 🇬🇧 UK English
  • 🇪🇸 Spanish
  • 🇫🇷 French
  • 🇩🇪 German
  • 🇨🇳 Chinese

  By default, the application is set to US English, you can however change the assistant Language at anytime from the Voice Commander iOS application settings.



• Speech to noise threshold:

  This is sets how "sensitive" the ear of the assistant is. If you work in a very quite environment you could set it to 0.5db and then the assistant will listen to you and try to pickup keywords even if you speak with a soft voice. On the contrary if there is some background noise, it is best to set the threshold over 2db. 2db is a good overall setting.

• Command delay:

  Sets the time it takes for a command to be executed.
